Party Booking, Rules and Fees

 

Fees

  • A 50% deposit is required to book a decorating/birthday party.
  • All deposits are non-refundable.
  • You will also be charged a $50 fee, upfront, to clean the room afterwards in the case that you do not clean the room at the end of the party. We provide all the cleaning materials needed to clean up. BRING TABLECLOTHS for a quicker easier cleanup. It is not mandatory, but helps cut out a lot of cleanup for you at the end. You will need 4 rectangular disposable tablecloths for the working tables.
  • If you do not clean the room and tables after your party, we will keep the $50 cleaning fee you paid when booking the class. If you do clean the room and it is in its pre-party condition, the $50 will be refunded

Party Rules

  • 2 adults must be present for entire party. The adults are responsible for the children and their well-being at all times throughout the party. The first half hour of the Option 1 party is led by the cake artist, the last hour is led by the parents/adults.
  • Cleanup at the end of class is required.
  • If you do leave the room as it was when you arrived, the $50 will be refunded to you.
  • Food and snacks are welcome.
  • Feel free to bring gifts to open at the end of the party.
  • Absolutely no paint or permanent markers of any type will be allowed at the party.  This includes and is not limited to: Puffy Paint, nail polish, fabric paint, acrylic paint.  You will be asked to leave immediately if we discover any paint like item. You will be charged a clean up fee of $50.00 per hour, depending on the time it takes for us to remove the paint or marks.
  • Balloons/Decorations are fine, as long as they are hung with tape-no staples or nails. Let Marianne know ahead of time if you need time to set up any decorations before the party starts

Booking

  • Should you cancel the class at least 2 weeks before the date, a gift card will be issued in the amount of the deposit.
  • Any classes cancelled after 2 weeks prior, the deposit will be retained by us.
  • Any changes to the party date/time must be made at least 2 weeks in advance.  There is no guarantee rescheduling a new date soon after the cancellation is available since birthday parties book up very quickly.
